This is the Sundew — Drosera — drawn as a specimen badge and ringed by KC Bog Bodies · Kansas City's Carnivorous Plant Society. Each leaf bristles with tentacles tipped in glistening droplets that sparkle like morning dew, lure an insect close, and hold it fast while the leaf slowly curls shut. Darwin was so taken with them he wrote that he cared more for Drosera than the origin of all the species in the world.
It's printed on a heavyweight Comfort Colors garment-dyed tee — 100% ring-spun cotton with a soft, broken-in hand and a rich, lived-in black that only deepens with wear. The cut runs relaxed and roomy, easy to layer for cool-morning trail walks or late-night grower meetups.
