This is the Albany Pitcher — Cephalotus follicularis — drawn as a specimen badge and ringed by KC Bog Bodies · Kansas City's Carnivorous Plant Society. It's the sole member of its entire plant family: a squat, ground-hugging pitcher edged with fine teeth, found in the wild only near Albany, on the far southwest tip of Australia. Small, slow, and unlike anything else alive.
It's printed on a heavyweight Comfort Colors garment-dyed tee — 100% ring-spun cotton with a soft, broken-in hand and a rich, lived-in black that only deepens with wear. The cut runs relaxed and roomy, easy to layer for cool-morning trail walks or late-night grower meetups.
For anyone who keeps a bog on the windowsill, has a soft spot for the rare and the strange, or just likes their houseplants a little bit dangerous.
